Overview

InsOrbit is a Chrome browser extension that runs entirely on your local device. We are committed to your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.

What we do NOT collect

InsOrbit does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Your Instagram credentials or session data
• The content you download (photos, videos, or any media files)
• Your browsing history or activity on Instagram
• Device identifiers, IP addresses, or usage analytics
• Any personal information beyond what is strictly required for payment and licensing

What we collect for licensing

When you purchase a Pro plan, our payment processor handles your payment information directly. We receive a transaction confirmation and generate a license key tied to your purchase. We store only:

• Your license key and its activation status
• The number of devices your license is active on (up to 3)
• The plan type and purchase date

We do not store your name, email address, or any payment card details. Those remain with your payment provider under their own privacy policy.

Local processing only

All downloads are processed locally in your Chrome browser. Files are saved directly to your device's default download folder. No media files, metadata, or Instagram content passes through our servers at any point.

License activation

When you activate your license key in the extension, the key is sent to our server solely to verify its validity and register the device. This request contains only the license key and a device identifier — no personal data.

Third-party services

• Payment processor — processes payments and subscriptions on our behalf. Your payment details are governed by your payment provider's own privacy policy.
• License verification backend — hosts and validates license records only. No personal data beyond license keys and device counts is stored.

Data retention

License records are retained for the duration of your subscription or lifetime license. You may request deletion of your license record at any time by contacting us, which will deactivate your Pro access.

Children's privacy

InsOrbit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of InsOrbit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
